FS#441 - TpWatcher not updating date after start-up
My laptop hibernates when I close the lid and restores Windows 7 when I open it again the next day and TpWatcher is still running as expected. Even though I ended the last activity before I closed the lid, TpWatcher has not updated the date and I cannot select the project or task, or update the last activity. The “…” menu allows access to only the User Manual.
Workaround: I have to quit TpWatcher and restart it.
Wenn des Notebooks durch das Schließen des Deckels in den Ruhezustand geht, und der Watcher am nächsten Tag wieder startet, wird oftmals das Datum nicht aktualisiert und es ist keine Projektauswahl mehr möglich. Und das obwohl die Zeiterfassung, vor dem Schließen des Deckels, korrekt beendet wurde.
Der Watcher hängt sich quasi auf. Es bleibt als Abhilfe nur den TimePunch Watcher zu beenden und neu zu starten.

This behaviour does not happen all the time and I have been unable to determine the events that lead to this behaviour beginning. Once it occurs I can clear it with a full reboot, after which TpWatcher seems to behave correctly when restarting from a hibernated state. Could a Java update or Windows Update interfere with the ability for it to detect the date change?
