My laptop hibernates when I close the lid and restores Windows 7 when I open it again the next day and TpWatcher is still running as expected. Even though I ended the last activity before I closed the lid, TpWatcher has not updated the date and I cannot select the project or task, or update the last activity. The “…” menu allows access to only the User Manual.

Workaround: I have to quit TpWatcher and restart it.

Wenn des Notebooks durch das Schließen des Deckels in den Ruhezustand geht, und der Watcher am nächsten Tag wieder startet, wird oftmals das Datum nicht aktualisiert und es ist keine Projektauswahl mehr möglich. Und das obwohl die Zeiterfassung, vor dem Schließen des Deckels, korrekt beendet wurde.

Der Watcher hängt sich quasi auf. Es bleibt als Abhilfe nur den TimePunch Watcher zu beenden und neu zu starten.

Struggling with the amount of memory resources used by TpWatcher.exe, working set reportedly ~105Mb which is well inside my Top 10. I have very few active projects too.

The number of hours to 2 decimal places generated by the "Open Report with Microsoft Excel…" feature in the Estimate and Work columns are no longer real numbers, so we cannot highlight multiple cells and see Excel automatically sum and average them the values.

With Stopwatch display settings set to ‘Touch friendly’ or to ‘Hidden’, it invariably does not withdraw or hide when another window, or the Start button, or an item in the Task Bar is selected.

This is about the time entry panel. My settings are to have it slide in and out on the left side. In previous versions, once I was done entering, I could click ANYWHERE on the rest of the screen and the TP Time panel would slide away. The way it is now, I have to specifically click on the “X”=close button on the TP panel to hide it. I find that to be an annoyance. If nothing else, could you please add this as an option in the view options (1. Close with “Close button” or 2. Close by clicking another window (making another window active))

TpWatcher cannot save a record if the duration has exceeded 24hours, but the you cannot stop the clock either. Catch-22. At the midnight Stop Watch should automatically save and restart a new record, but if the computer was off at the time then Stop Watch should suto-split the record instead of complaining about it’s length.

Although Options | Language Selection is set to “English”, when I use the “Open Report with Microsoft Excel…” I get values in Column B (Day) that are German abbreviations rather than English ones. The rest of the worksheet is OK.

Had TpClientGui running and had attempted to right-click against TpWatcher, but nothing appeared. I then switched to TpClientGui, intending to close it before killing the TpWatcher process (so I can re-launch it), and a Microsoft .NET Framework dialogue box appeared for this Unhandled Exception. Not seen this before and it may help towards finding the problems with TpWatcher not displaying dialogues correctly. I regularly have to kill the processes.
